(ALL THE PERFORMERS)

  • EARTHKRY

Coming from out of Kingston, Jamaica, the place where Reggae was created. Their journey began with a twist of fate which brought together keyboard player Phillip Mcfarlane , drummer Kieron Cunningham, bass guitarist Kamardo Blake and vocalist/guitarist Aldayne Haughton, to play a series of small gigs. Drawing inspiration from Bob Marley and The Wailers, The Beatles, John Holt, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Black Uhuru and Steel Pulse, the group soon cemented a wholesome fusion of Roots Reggae, Souls and Rock genres for a fresh but universal sound. Much like the iconic reggae outfit The Wailers, the band chose its name, EarthKry, to signify its mission to voice the grievances of the downtrodden through the vibrations of their Legacy music.

  • RIKJAM

Rik Jam is one of the most talented young artist from out of Jamaica. His throwback style with original new school flavor fills a major void in today's reggae scene.

From early on in my music career I purposed myself to sing clean, positive lyrics as such music help to keep one focused and give you a positive energy. Music is like a gateway to my happiness and without it I don't think I could function properly. I am taking it one step at a time as I appreciate the music and my audience as I am guided by the words of Bob Marley “When the root is strong, the fruit is sweet.”

  • SAINT AND THE FULL 100 BAND

Saint And The Full 100 Band is a group of amazing musicians based in Edmonton, Alberta, with members hailing from England, Jamaica, Trinidad, Africa and Canada. Their genre of music is Reggae, Soca, and Ska. Each person brings their own unique style and personality to their unique sound. Saint and the Full 100 is the only Reggae Band with a drummer as the lead singer. They have been highly recognized and awarded for their contribution to the Canadian Reggae scene. Accolades includes: 2 WCMA Awards, Awards from the Toronto Reggae Awards, Awards from the Calgary and Edmonton Music Awards, and a 2009 Juno Nomination.

  • DJ Game Girl

Since 2004, Gamegirl has been rocking the floors of nightclubs, concerts, fashion shows, corporate functions and more. She has a vast knowledge of all genres, from urban to reggae, house to Soca and country to rock.

Growing up with a strong Caribbean music influence, Gamegirl admits that attending late-night reggae parties is one of her favourite past times.
